A raspberry lemon drop is one of those drinks that just screams summer for me. It’s beautiful, refreshing, and so tasty. The muddled raspberries add a fun and vibrant twist to the classic lemon drop martini, making this cocktail great for any occasion.

Serving Suggestions

I love to serve these for a little happy hour or afternoon treat, and they pair perfectly with light appetizers. Serve these raspberry lemon drop martinis with antipasto skewers, grape jelly meatballs, spinach artichoke dip, or bacon-wrapped pineapple.

How to Make Raspberry Lemon Drops Step by Step

Muddle Raspberries: Muddle ¼ cup of fresh raspberries with 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Use a wooden muddler, the handle of a rolling pin, or the back of a spoon to press the berries down until it becomes a puree. Strain the Puree: Press the muddled raspberries through a wire mesh sieve or strainer to remove seeds, skin, and any clumps. Pressing the berries down will also help release as much juice as possible. I strain the berries directly into the cocktail shaker so it’s ready to use. Shake: Place all ingredients (the raspberry puree, 3-4 ounces of vodka, ¼ cup of lemon-lime soda, 4 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, and ice (as needed) into a cocktail shaker. Put the lid on and shake vigorously to combine. Garnish and Serve: Pour your raspberry lemon drop martinis into glasses, garnish with lemon peels and raspberries if desired, then serve.
