Eggs: This is a great meal prep recipe! I love making a bunch of hard boiled eggs at the beginning of the week so I can grab them for breakfast or a snack from the fridge whenever I want. You can of course use any eggs you like best from the store.
Why cook them in a pressure cooker?
The main bonus of making hard boiled eggs in an Instant Pot is that it totally takes the guess work out of things. You can just set the timer and leave them to do their own thing. You can cook up to eight eggs this way, so it’s great if you are making something like an egg salad or deviled eggs.
How to Store
Once they have cooled to room temperature, place the hard boiled eggs in an airtight container in the fridge and they will keep well for up to one week.
Serving Suggestions
You will never be short of uses with hard boiled eggs! They are great to add to salads or just to enjoy as a healthy snack. Slice them in half and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning for a great bite!

How to Make Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs Step by Step
Cook the eggs: Fit the steamer rack trivet in the Instant Pot. Add 1 cup water. Place all 8 eggs onto the trivet. Cover and seal the Instant Pot with the lid. Lock the steam valve. Select the manual mode setting and cook for 6 minutes on high pressure. Natural release for 5 minutes, then quick release. Create the ice bath: Prep a large bowl with 1 cup water and add 2 cups ice. Place cooked eggs in the ice bath and let sit for 5 minutes. Peel the eggs: Remove the eggs from the ice bath. Peel and enjoy!
