How to make Instant Pot Buffalo Wings Step by Step
Season the chicken wings: Place the wings in a large bowl and toss them with 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper.
Pressure cook the wings: Place the wings on a trivet in the pressure cooker. Pour 1 cup of chicken broth into the pot, directly over the chicken. Set the cooker to high pressure for 10 minutes (15 if wings are frozen). Release the pressure valve. Once the pressure has been released, let the wings rest another 5 minutes.
Make them saucy: Toss the wings in 1 to 1 1/2 cups of sauce, depending on how saucy you want them to be. Lay them in a single layer on a parchment covered baking sheet.
Broil them: Broil the wings at 550°F for about 3-4 minutes or until the sauce has caramelized.
