Ingredient Notes
Crescent Dough: Buy some dough at the store to save on time. It’s available in the refrigerated section of almost all grocery stores. If you can’t find the sheets, you can buy the traditional crescents and pinch the seams together to create one large rectangle.Sausages: For the mini sausages, I’m using “lil’ smokies” but feel free to use any kind you like. Even thick-sliced hot dogs would work!Egg: Helps the seasoning stick to the dough and turns the dough a golden brown.Seasoning: I’m using everything bagel seasoning on these pigs in a blanket, but flakey salt or sesame seeds would work too! For the best flavor, use Homemade Everything Bagel Seasoning.
After you enjoy a few pigs in a blanket with a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning, you’ll probably never go back to making them without it again!
