Do you use pork or beef ribs?

You can use either for this recipe. Beef ribs contain more fat, so are more juicy and a rich in flavor, but pork ribs have more meat on the bones. Try it with both and choose your favorite!

Do you need to sear the ribs before cooking?

You don’t have to sear your ribs before adding them to the slow cooker, I prefer them un-seared. Searing however will help you get a nice crispy crust if you like that. Slow cooking the ribs allows all the proteins to break down so you get the juiciest most flavorful ribs ever!

What do you serve with it?

I like to serve these Crockpot Hawaiian ribs on a bed of rice with some sliced green onion, delicious! If you like you can serve them with your favorite cookout style sides like;
